Since then, there has been a significant reduction in cancer incidents in the USA<sup>1<\/sup>.<br \/>\nThis, undoubtedly, was an important progress in prevention.<br \/>\nToday, more than 650 million ThinPrep\u00ae Pap Tests have been conducted and, at the same time, more that 6,000 ThinPrep\u00ae<sup>2<\/sup> processors are used.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>\u2015 An exclusive method of gynaecological testing in the biggest hospitals and diagnostic centers in Greece. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Since 2015, in cooperation with Group Generali, Thin Prep has become the exclusive method for conducting gynaecological testing, both for prevention and for diagnosis in the largest hospitals and diagnostic centers in Greece.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1537 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.womanshealth.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/thinprep-pap-test-1.jpg\" alt=\"thinprep-pap-test\" width=\"440\" height=\"429\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.womanshealth.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/thinprep-pap-test-1.jpg 440w, https:\/\/www.womanshealth.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/thinprep-pap-test-1-300x293.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 440px) 100vw, 440px\" \/><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>\u2015 Pap Test + HPV Test: the strategy for success in preventing cervical cancer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Today, the combination of Pap Test + HPV Test (co-testing) is considered to be the best strategy for detecting high-grade lesions in women between 30 and 65 years old, according to the most recent clinical studies<sup>5,6<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>This means that only ONE sample collection, covers for a woman all prevention testing for cervical cancer<\/p>\n<p>Recent Guidelines of the USA Obstetrics\/ Gynaecologists Conference also advise the combination of Pap Test + HPV Test as the method of choice for women&#8217;s testing<sup>7<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<blockquote><p>* ThinPrep\u00ae Pap Test is significantly more effective than the conventional Pap Test in detecting low-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions (LSIL) and more serious lesions in various groups of women.<br \/>\n** Aptima HR HPV test, Aptima GT test, Cervista\u00ae HPV HR Test, the Cervista\u00ae HPV 16\/18 Test, the Roche cobas\u00ae HPV Test and the Digene Hybrid Capture System HPV DNA test.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>The information referred to for general information and informing the public and in any case can not replace a doctor or other suitably qualified health professional.
